What you will do :
As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, you'll play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework / DocuTrack pharmacy system. Additionally, you'll communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs.
Under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for :
Efficient order entry and follow-up
Troubleshooting prescription / patient data entry discrepancies
Ensuring accurate and timely prescription / patient information input
Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
What you will bring :
High School graduate or equivalent
Current national / state pharmacy certification and State Board of Pharmacy registration
Strong computer skills
Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required.
