About the Role:
As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll play a vital role in meeting the medication needs of our long-term care pharmacy clients. You'll ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of prescription medications while upholding our company's quality standards, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Process new patient referral prescriptions and dispense medications accurately.
Collaborate closely with Pharmacy Technicians and Order Entry Technicians to ensure efficient medication preparation and dispensing.
Provide client care, including patient follow-up and monitoring clinical data.
Input information accurately and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain safety practices and enforce company policies and procedures.
Prioritize customer focus, building trust and respect with internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
Degree in Pharmacy.
Valid Pharmacist License.
Minimum of one year recent experience in an acute-care setting preferred.
Experience with intravenous admixtures and therapy desired.
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
Strong organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
