As a Heavy Equipment Specialist at Remedial Construction Services, L.P. (RECON), you will be responsible for operating various types of powered construction equipment such as excavators and bulldozers in a safe and efficient manner. Your duties will include excavating, moving, and grading materials, erecting structures, and assisting with concrete pours and demolition of hard surface pavement.

(RECON), you will be responsible for operating various types of powered construction equipment such as excavators and bulldozers in a safe and efficient manner. Your duties will include excavating, moving, and grading materials, erecting structures, and assisting with concrete pours and demolition of hard surface pavement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-inspection and on-going maintenance checks while operating equipment
- Supply input to Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and frequent improvements or changes to Job Safety Analysis Plan (JSAP)
- Observe and comply with all company and specific site safety and project policies
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with others by all means possible
Qualifications and Requirements
- Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations regarding excavation methods and practices
- Able to read and properly interpret load charts for associated heavy equipment and manufacturer approved attachments
- Required to pass skills test prior to operating heavy equipment
