Our whole-person approach drives everything we do—and we’re currently seeking a detail-oriented Medical Data Entry Specialist (MDES) to join our team and help ensure accurate, efficient clinical documentation.
About the Role
As a Medical Data Entry Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting our providers by managing patient documentation within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Your accuracy, organizational skills, and confidentiality will be essential to the care we provide.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter patient data into the EMR system
- Document exam findings, medical history, vitals, and medication lists under provider direction
- Organize daily schedules, review charts/labs, and assist with record prep
- Submit provider notes to appropriate facilities in a timely manner
- Support providers with forms, reports, and other administrative needs
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising provider
Qualifications
- Experience in medical data entry, healthcare admin, or patient records (preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and prior EMR experience is a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer skills, including data entry and documentation
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Ability to anticipate provider needs and work independently in a fast-paced environment
