Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Training Officer to oversee the education, compliance, and professional development of our Medical Assistants and Receptionists. This role will be an additional responsibility on top of the employee’s current job duties. The selected candidate will manage and track CME hours, employee license expiration dates, new employee onboarding, and annual training requirements to ensure our team remains compliant and continuously develops their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
•Training & Onboarding
•Develop and implement training programs for new Medical Assistants and Receptionists.
•Conduct orientation sessions and ensure smooth onboarding of new hires.
•Provide ongoing training and skills development to enhance job performance.
•Compliance & Credentialing
•Track and monitor CME hours for applicable employees.
•Maintain an up-to-date record of employee licenses and certifications.
•Notify employees and leadership of upcoming expiration dates and required renewals.
•Ensure annual training requirements are met and documented.
•Performance & Quality Assurance
•Identify training gaps and develop solutions to enhance team effectiveness.
•Provide coaching and mentoring to employees as needed.
•Work with leadership to ensure training aligns with company goals and regulatory standards.
•Administrative Duties
•Maintain accurate training records and reports.
•Coordinate with department heads to schedule training sessions.
•Stay updated on industry best practices and compliance regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
•Strong organizational and time-management skills.
•Experience in training, coaching, or mentorship preferred.
•Familiarity with medical licensing and CME tracking.
•Ability to communicate effectively and work with diverse teams.
•Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Evaluation:
Compensation will be based on experience and performance, with the potential for additional incentives based on effectiveness in training, compliance, and team development.
