Position Overview:
The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides compassionate and skilled nursing care to clients as prescribed by their Physician, under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role is performed in accordance with the State LPN/LVN Practice Act, applicable licensure requirements, and the policies and procedures of Remedy Home Health Care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to clients based on their individual needs and care plans.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of all client care and activities.
- Uphold agency policies, procedures, and state regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved School of Practical/Vocational Nursing.
- Active and current LPN/LVN licensure in good standing within the state(s) of practice.
- 1 Year of Experience in Nursing (home health a PLUS!)
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, bending, stretching, and walking.
- Emotional stability and professionalism to work effectively with clients and families.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the client’s language and document all care-related activities.
- Compliance with educational and experience requirements outlined by state laws.
