We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at Remedy Intelligent Staffing - Western NY Region. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 35-50 employees in a high-volume warehouse setting.
- Support and coach team members to optimize efficiency and drive process improvement.
- Oversee shipping/receiving operations, including coordinating/loading/unloading 3-4 trucks per day and picking/packing/shipping up to 5000 orders/day.
- Evaluate items for disposition (re-stock, repair or dispose) each returned item, up to 400 packages per day.
- Coordinate, oversee and assist in making sure inventory counts are completed and accurate.
- Supervise, train and delegate work to the department.
- Work closely with the Facilities Supervisor with regards to infrastructure.
- Manage fluctuating labor needs and ensure optimal workflow throughout the entire warehouse.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- AT LEAST 5 years of warehouse experience; 3 specifically in a warehouse leadership role within a high volume warehouse/distribution center.
- Flexible schedule.
- Hands on leadership style.
- Strong computer skills.
- Rf scanning experience.
