Remedy is excited to partner with a great manufacturer in the Corry, PA area who is in need of a skilled Toolmaker to join their team. This Toolmaker will be responsible for building various types of tooling and fixtures that will be used to produce customers’ parts. Check out more great details below!
Job Title : Toolmaker
Job Type : Full-time / Direct Hire
Reports to : Tool Room Foreman
Hours : 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, 6am - 4 : 30pm, 6am - 12pm Fridays
Pay : $18-25 / hour, depending upon prior experience

Essential job duties for this Toolmaker include :
- Reading and following blueprints and work instructions
- Set up, operation and general maintenance of various manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and make the proper repairs.
- Inspection of first pieces off of new tooling to verify conformance and quality; scrap any con-conformances and set up pieces
- Working with metal stamping dies to include die assembly. die tryouts and troubleshooting dies
- Sign off various process control documents as required
