Responsibilities:
- Support team in the pursuit of new projects through participation in prospective client proposal / presentation process
- Work in conjunction with Preconstruction team in the development of project implementation schedules
- Work in conjunction with Preconstruction team in the development of project budgets
- Participate in the selection and on-boarding process of project implementation teams including but not limited to: Architects, Engineers, and Contractors
- Prepare, negotiate, and facilitate the execution of agreements for consultants and contractors
- Participate at key milestone meetings of the design process to provide constructability, schedule and budget input
- Align with Preconstruction to ensure successful transition of responsibility at the start of Construction phase
- Coordinate/Assist in obtaining required entitlements and permits for construction projects
- Assist with utility coordination and set up for projects
- Manage day-to-day execution of construction projects nationally for Sitework, Core/Shell and Tenant Improvement phases
- Participate in regularly scheduled Owner / Contractor / Architect meetings; in-person generally anticipated to be held twice monthly
- Oversee change management for projects
- Monitor and update project budget and schedule regularly throughout the duration of the project
- Review quality assurance measures being implemented by the contractor and design team (Submittals, RFIs, etc.)
- Leverage relevant experience overseeing representative projects, monitor and challenge project team members to ensure compliance with contract and client expectations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly updates to clients which clearly summarizes project status
- Facilitate the monthly draw process by coordinating with Accounting, equity partner, title company and lenders to ensure all requirement are being met and team members are paid in accordance with all established parameters
- Assist in establishment of best practices and protocols through leveraging software and other industry tools to promote efficiency, quality and client satisfaction.
- At all times, strive to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Report directly to EVP/ Design & Construction
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- 5-10 years construction / project management experience
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience/education required
- Healthcare experience – Ground-up development and renovation of existing facilities
- Tenant Improvement design and project management experience
- Experience managing design consultants and contractors
- Strong understanding of legal documents required in healthcare real estate transactions
- Strong understanding of monthly project draw and vendor pay application process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft based software, to include Word, Excel and MS Project, MS PowerPoint
$120,000 - $170,000 salary range, based on experience, plus benefits and bonus
