Role Overview

The Graphic Designer will create compelling visual content across both print and digital platforms, translating Remilia's distinctive aesthetic into various applications while maintaining visual consistency and experimental edge. This role focuses on visual design execution rather than UX/UI architecture, creating striking designs that express our unique cultural perspective across websites, publications, marketing materials, and brand assets.

Key Responsibilities

Print Design & Production

• Design print materials including publications, promotional materials, merchandise, and packaging
• Develop production-ready files with appropriate specifications for various printing methods
• Ensure quality control throughout physical production processes
• Create visual systems that maintain coherence across different print applications
• Collaborate with printers and production partners to achieve desired results

Digital Visual Design

• Create visually compelling designs for websites, social media, and digital marketing
• Develop cohesive visual systems that translate effectively between print and screen
• Design digital assets and graphics that maintain quality across devices and platforms
• Create mockups and visual designs that can be implemented by development teams
• Understand basic web design principles and technical constraints

Brand & Visual Identity

• Help maintain and evolve Remilia's visual identities across various initiatives
• Create assets that express our distinctive aesthetic while serving specific functional needs
• Develop visual guidelines to ensure consistency across applications
• Contribute to the conceptual development of new visual directions
• Translate abstract cultural concepts into concrete visual expressions

Creative Production

• Manage design projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced environment
• Balance creative experimentation with practical execution requirements
• Maintain organized files and asset libraries for team accessibility
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities while delivering on deadlines

Professional Experience & Skills

Essential Experience

• 3 years professional graphic design experience in an agency, studio, or in-house creative team
• Strong portfolio demonstrating print design expertise and digital visual design capabilities
• Experience working on publication design, promotional materials, and brand applications
• Demonstrated ability to maintain visual consistency across multiple platforms
• Comfort working in fast-paced creative environments with changing priorities

Technical Skills

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of print production processes and specifications
• Knowledge of digital design requirements and web design principles
• Typography expertise across digital and print applications
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS helpful but not required
