While the Director of Sales & Marketing reports directly to the General Manager, the Regional Sales and Marketing Manager will interface and assist in the direction of the Sales and Marketing function at the property.

Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies for the property, including targeted market segments, rate management, solicitation procedures, and advertising.
- Establish a realistic annual marketing plan, including monthly reviews and updates to modify strategies as required by market conditions.
- Emphasize control procedures and yield management to ensure a proper balance of rate availability to market demand.
- Create and execute an effective outside sales program to attract new business opportunities.
- Oversee the internal servicing of groups to ensure seamless execution of contracted sales.
- Collaborate with the hotel management team and the General Manager to align sales efforts with overall property objectives.
- Train all sales and marketing staff, holding them accountable for actionable results and performance metrics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government tourism boards, destination marketing organizations (DMOs), and other public sector bodies to drive inbound travel.
- Collaborate with national and regional tourism authorities to create joint marketing initiatives and secure funding or incentives.
- Represent the property at regional travel and tourism trade shows, fostering partnerships with tour operators, travel agencies, and media.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for co-branded campaigns with government entities to boost visibility in key markets.
- Oversee participation in destination marketing campaigns, familiarization (FAM) trips, and industry events to showcase the property.
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and monitoring to generate a brand identity within the market.
- Corporate and Financial Services Travelers: Capitalizing on George Town’s financial hub status to attract business travelers.
- Government and Legal Business: Engaging officials and legal professionals visiting George Town.
- Small Conference and Small Group Business: Positioning the hotel as a prime venue for professional events and seminars.
- Culinary and Experiential Travelers: Leveraging Grand Cayman’s renowned food scene and the hotel’s signature dining experiences.
- Lifestyle Travelers: Partnering with local wellness providers to offer yoga, spa, and wellness experiences.
- Cruise Ship Overflow and Day Visitors: Capturing cruise guests looking for premium day-use facilities.
- Extended Stay and Relocation Guests: Targeting professionals relocating to the financial and legal sectors with the only upscale extended-stay option in George Town.
- Adventure and Eco-Tourism Enthusiasts: Promoting proximity to diving, snorkeling, and eco-adventure attractions.
- Destination Dining and Social Locals: Establishing the hotel’s restaurants as a premier dining destination for residents and expats.
- Strong business communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven hotel sales experience, demonstrating creative thinking and results-driven leadership.
- High work ethic and self-initiative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other sales-related software.
- Ability to travel as required to attend sales meetings, industry events, and client engagements.
- Regular attendance and adherence to established guidelines and business needs of the property.
- Must possess basic computational ability to analyze data and sales figures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions
- Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with staff while upholding confidentiality for both employees and guests.
