As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and securing highly skilled professionals in a competitive market. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, partnering with hiring managers, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. To succeed in this role, you must be a strong communicator, proactive problem solver, and relationship builder who can navigate the challenges of high-volume, high-urgency recruiting. Success in this role also requires exceptional time management and organizational skills. You will need to stay on top of deadlines, keep recruitment processes moving efficiently, and ensure hiring managers and candidates receive timely communication.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, from job posting to offer acceptance, in a high-demand, fast-moving environment.
- Source and engage highly technical and specialized candidates through job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs, set priorities quickly, and develop strategic recruitment plans.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview logistics with a focus on efficiency.
- Maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Ensure all hiring decisions align with our company’s values of Drive, Initiative, Integrity, Respect, and Service.
- Balance multiple requisitions and shifting priorities while maintaining a high level of responsiveness.
- Partner with external recruiters and staffing agencies as needed to supplement internal hiring efforts, ensuring alignment with company hiring standards, budget, and culture.
- Promote Remington & Vernick Engineers as an employer of choice through social media, networking events, and professional associations.
- Support and promote the employee referral program, finding ways to increase participation and improve effectiveness in attracting high-quality candidates. Analyze program data to identify trends and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Help strengthen our employer brand, addressing negative perceptions and increasing visibility in new disciplines.
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience, managing clear communication and keeping the process moving efficiently.
- Ensure a smooth transition for new hires by coordinating with hiring managers and HR colleagues to ensure a seamless transition for new hires and improve onboarding processes.
- Conduct exit interviews, ensuring a structured and confidential process.
- Analyze exit interview data to identify trends related to employee retention, workplace culture, and areas for improvement.
- Share insights with managers to help them understand patterns and make informed decisions about engagement and talent retention.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to implement changes that enhance both new hire onboarding and employee offboarding experiences.
- Adhere to and continuously improve established recruitment processes, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency in all hiring activities.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools to maximize efficiency
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up to date on employment laws and ensure compliance with multi-state hiring regulations.
- Keep up to date on recruitment marketing and industry trends.
- 2 years of experience in high-volume, fast-paced recruiting, ideally in engineering, consulting, or other technical industries.
- A strong communicator (written and verbal) and relationship builder who can engage both candidates and hiring managers effectively.
- Experience sourcing highly specialized professionals in a competitive, limited talent market.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple roles, meet tight deadlines, and keep processes moving forward.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, ADP Workforce Now, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
- A proactive, strategic, and problem-solving mindset—someone who thrives under pressure and can quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and efficiency without sacrificing quality or the candidate experience.
- Uphold firm standards of conduct and model our values.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology Communications or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is a plus.
- Additional certifications in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Marketing, or Employer Branding are beneficial.
