Remitly, Inc. seeks a Senior Product Manager to serve as a member of a team at the core of Remitly’s remittance product. Engage with stakeholders to understand customer and business needs to inform priorities, sequencing, and roadmap. Own team OKRs in partnership with engineering team, and manage cross-team alignment. Define and improve success metrics for each phase of the company’s systems evolution. Own product backlog, requirements specifications, and drive projects from inception through completion. Partner with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders across the organization to define, build and deliver new functionality across systems.Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with technical product and project management. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following : setting and building product strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization, and executing on a roadmap; defining and leading growth strategy for systems; leading cross-functional teams on technical product development and implementation; defining requirements specifications; writing technical documentation; writing product requirement documents; translating customer experience into system design; building scalable platforms; developing reliable backend systems; directing implementation of APIs; building regression models; and JIRA, Confluence, Elasticsearch, Figma, R, and Tableau.
