About the Role :
Remitly is expanding our Privacy Engineering team - working to implement privacy solutions across our service offerings - focusing specifically on data deletion and data access. If you are passionate about advocating for customers, and designing simple solutions to complex problems, we've got a challenge for you. This is a hybrid in-office role for our Seattle, WA Headquarters reporting into the Director of Privacy.
You Will :
- Design and implement privacy-enhancing features, tooling and mechanisms for our software products, ensuring compliance with relevant privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
- Work with product engineering teams to establish best practices for privacy engineering across the organization.
- Design for technical scale, write system design specs and implement privacy systems through code.
- Lead projects end-to-end and implement solutions involving multiple technologies and systems.
You Have :
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $180,000-$225,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
