KITCHEN LEAD

Reports To: Restaurant Manager

Summary of Position:

A Kitchen Lead keeps things moving in our kitchen! This person is responsible for maintaining quality and efficiency in our kitchen.A Kitchen Lead takes initiative, they can handle working solo throughout the week and lead your team on high volume shifts during the weekends or Event. A Kitchen Lead has good time management, can work quickly on their feet and has food safety knowledge and can adjust to the “Remix Way”.

Roles & Rotations:

*FOOD PREP *LINE COOK *DISHWASHING & CLEANING *STOCKING, RESTOCKING & UNLOADING

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to:)

*Maintain positive attitude *Strong attention to detail *Ability to switch tasks quickly and effectively *Greet customers with a smile *Be patient and attentive *Seek answers and results quickly *Maintain a safe experience for all *Strong Communication via phone and email *Ability to take direction with little follow up *Ability to work independently *Working under strict time deadlines *Be adaptable in changing roles *Be assertive when necessary *Work as a positive member of a team

Cleaning Requirements

At REMIX, all job titles must be proficient in everyday cleaning tasks. A Kitchen Lead is expected and not limited to…

*Keeping your station clean and stocked at all times *Follows opening and closing protocalls *Follows state guidelines for food safty and sanitation *Can follow preventative maintence requirements for all kitchen equiptment

Physical Requirements:

*Ability to be on feet continuously during shift *Ability to lift 40 lbs consistently *Ability to jump, crawl, slide through equipment for safety checks *Ability to work on hands and knees *Ability to speak clearly and confidently *Ability to climb ladders

Qualifications

*At least 16 years of age *Ability to pass a background check with no concerns *Reference check(s)

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 - $16.00/hour.
