Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Remmert installation team and subcontractor installation teams
- Lead and manage site coordinator(s)
- Communicate to clients about job site impediments
- Track job site progress by other trades and adherence to published schedule and report to client any discrepancies or delays.
- Track job site conditions including temperature and humidity
- Consult with clients on deliveries, flow, and manpower
- Meet with clients to formulate a mutually agreed upon schedule for projects, including flow, duration, and progress of work
- Responsible for assets of the installation team and site coordinator including vehicles, tools, technology, and safety equipment
- Responsible for outfitting installation team and site coordinator with necessary tools to complete assigned tasks
- Responsible for the hiring, training and advancement of those on the team
- Collaborate with team members for continuous improvement
- Problem-solve and plan complex installations and/or large scopes of work
- Source and negotiate subcontract labor
- Direct and coordinate Installation Team’s activities and assignments to manage Team Member’s workload and maximize efficiency
- Review and manage work orders to ensure work is flowing in the proper and efficient manners
- Support Project Managers in obtaining needed project information
- Support Project Managers in resolving conflicts with clients
- Assist, manage, and coach install team members through difficult or unique issues
- Collaborate with project managers and other teams to assist in the planning of large projects or complex-scope items
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure projects are running on time and within budget
- Develops & maintains relationships with subcontractors & customers
- Works closely with project managers and customers to determine and collaborate on schedule, job flow, and durations of activities
- Responsible for managing customer expectations
- Supports Design Engineering Team by ensuring project site information is obtained, released and interpreted accurately for timely product delivery
- Provides oversight for maintaining or bettering Project budgets for installation labor
- Performs critical oversight functions for the company
- Find ways to increase efficiency, productivity, and throughput
- Will be in direct contact with other managers to improve workflows and minimize points of friction

Education
- Four-year degree, or higher, from a technical school, college or university is required
- Relevant experience can be considered as an equivalent to a degree
Experience
- Seven or more years’ experience within the woodworking, manufacturing, or construction industry is preferred
- Extensive prior experience in and strong business knowledge of the construction and woodworking industry required.
