Job description
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance tasks of unit turns, fulfilling work orders, and preventative maintenance. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail.
Responsibilities of Maintenance are, but not limited to:
- Respond to residential work orders
- Fix/Change Locks
- Install/Repair blinds
- Repair/Replace Drywall
- Remove, transfer, replace heavy appliances
- Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter
- Perform unit inspections
- Must have the ability to select appropriate materials needed for the property
- Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. maintaining the cleanliness of the property) and other tasks as assigned
- Must be aware of the condition of apartments and the overall property and immediately initiate action to correct/improve conditions
- Maintain consistent work flow of maintenance building, including cleanliness and organization. Performs on-call emergency service as requested. All emergency after hours calls must be responded to immediately, and the service person on call must have the ability to arrive at the property no more than an hour after a call comes in.
- Responsible for unit turns (prepare unit for next resident), of which, includes painting unit (this is not required but a plus)
- Must possess basic set of tools, valid drivers license and personal transportation.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
