Construction Superintendent

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join a growing construction team in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for commercial projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
• Monitor and manage project schedules, adjusting timelines as needed.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and resolve any issues that arise.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members.
• Prepare and submit daily reports, including project progress and any issues encountered.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale commercial construction projects.
• OSHA certification.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
