What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
Lead the development and constituent engagement strategy for the Law School, setting ambitious fundraising goals
Identify, cultivate, and solicit major and principal gift prospects, managing a pool of approximately 75 individuals
Collaborate with university leadership and the Dean to create annual philanthropy and engagement plans
Oversee performance management of the development team and support their professional growth
Build brand identity and awareness through strategic storytelling and engagement initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications) :
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 9 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience
Proven major and principal gift fundraising success
Experience in strategic thinking and team management
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively in a complex organizational environment

Experience in higher education or the non-profit sector
Demonstrated record of excellence in building development and alumni relations programs
Ability to effectively organize and inspire a team, maximizing their success
Prior professional school / unit management experience
