What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Luxury Travel Designer position at Remote Lands?
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for Asia and strong attention to detail to join our team at Remote Lands. Remote Lands is an award-winning boutique tour operator specializing in exclusive Asia tours for the North American luxury market.
This is position will serve to support our Senior Travel Designers in delivering exceptional customer service.
- The creation of trip frameworks, proposals, and detailed itineraries
- Manage client travel documents, including passports and long-haul international flights
- Manage closed bookings, including handling reservation requests
- Managing client profiles, drafting biographies, and collecting key client information
- Scheduling client calls and conducting detailed note-taking
- Managing trips while Senior Travel Designers are out of the office
- Printing, packing, and sending final itinerary packages
- Other general tasks as directed by the Senior Travel Designers and
- 1-2 years experience in a luxury travel environment
- Detail-oriented” is an understatement -- ability to analyze and synthesize a vast volume of information and understand complicated travel logistics
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skill
