Overview:
As a Van Detailer / Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our vans are in pristine condition prior to shipping off to our partner dealerships, as well as providing warehouse support to keep production rolling.
Outside of work - Your passions will converge as enthusiastic supporter of the #vanlife lifestyle, remote work adventures, and you’ll naturally represent Remote Vans as an enthusiastic ambassador and reputation guardian within the van life community.
The Job
- $17-$20/hour Performance Bonuses
- Working Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday
- Remote Vans provides ample PTO, and health insurance - covering up to 100% of each employee.
Responsibilities:
Van detailing
- Clean vehicles according to company guidelines, checklists, processes and quality standards
- Apply protective treatments to minimize future damage
- Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment
- Move and park vehicles
- Monitor supply inventory and work with Operations & Finance Manager to order tools and cleaning supplies as necessary
Warehouse assistance
- Move inventory and materials across facilities
- Stack and organize large bulk items
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from walkways
- May assist Inventory Control Manager with receiving, sorting, organizing, and storing inventory in the proper location
- Assist with administrative tasks and run errands
- Support and adhere to all system and company procedures
- Contribute to the overall success of the Production Team by co-elevating with all team members through collaboration, cooperation, and camaraderie
- All other duties as assigned.

- Operating hours are generally 7:00am - 3:30pm, M-F

Qualifications/Skills:
Aptitude for learning new things quickly, high level of attention to detail, good problem solver, strong communication skills, active listener, juggler of many tasks simultaneously well, patient, emotionally intelligent, and a team player.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
**Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license with a good driving record.**
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Auto detailing experience
- Forklift experience
