As a Capital One Software Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.

As a backend engineer for the Financial Services Tech Auto Servicing Payments platform, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining new capabilities for our various different payment scenarios, as well as expanding our platform to reach an ever growing number of payment methods. Using the latest and greatest of open source and AWS technologies, you will be responsible for ensuring payment systems are secure, error free, stable and each cent is accounted for at every step of processing and recons. You will focus and obsess over the stability of systems, continuous improvement, and well managed tech. What You’ll Do :

• Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community.
• Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment.
• Utilize programming languages like Java, SQL, Node, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
