Requirements
A Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree is required. Experience in utilization management, quality improvement, and medical management is highly valued. Board certification in a medical specialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialists or the American Osteopathic Association's Department of Certifying Board Services is desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
