About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage bookkeeping and financial reporting for our trading company in China. This role is critical in maintaining accurate AP/AR and preparing monthly financial statements. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge of accounting principles, be tech-savvy with cloud-based accounting software, and be fluent in both Chinese and English.
This is a fully remote, Part-Time role with the potential to grow into a full-time position in the future.
We are looking for an Accountant specifically with these requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of experience working as an Accountant/Bookkeeper.
- Proficiency in Chinese and English (mandatory).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (QBO) or Xero, ideally cloud-based software.
- Strong data-driven mindset with a focus on automation and efficiency.
- An independent mind and reliability is a must.
Your responsibility will include (but not limited to):
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Prepare precise monthly financial statements.
- Ensure all financial records comply with accounting principles and standards.
- Assist in preparing for and passing 3rd-party audits conducted every 6 months.
- Leverage accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (QBO) or Xero to streamline processes.
