Position Overview:
Springfield Veterans Cemetery is seeking four (4) Temporary Grounds Maintenance Laborers to assist with various landscaping and maintenance tasks. This role involves performing general labor duties to ensure the cemetery grounds remain well-kept, honoring the memory of those laid to rest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, and debris removal.
• Assist in the alignment and maintenance of headstones.
• Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of cemetery grounds.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall site maintenance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior experience in general labor, landscaping, or grounds maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to work respectfully in a memorial setting.
• No specialized certifications required.
