Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an annual procurement strategy to align with the company’s goals, ensuring a steady supply of fresh, high-quality floral products at competitive prices.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with growers, suppliers, and logistic partners to secure favorable terms and ensure long-term growth.
- Oversee all procurement operations, including logistics with airlines and freight forwarders, to ensure efficient processes and timely delivery of fresh products.
- Conduct supplier evaluations to maintain product quality and brand integrity, and negotiate favorable agreements to close deals.
- Spearhead quality assurance initiatives to uphold and enforce quality specifications across all floral products.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure product offerings meet market demand and customer expectations.
- Track product quality, coordinate with farms, and ensure compliance with packaging specifications throughout the supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in supply chain management, procurement, and quality assurance, preferably in the floral, agriculture, or perishable goods industries.
- Strong strategic planning and negotiation skills.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead teams effectively.
