Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Mount Holly, New Jersey

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

Job Summary:

We are a rapidly expanding company seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team in Mount Holly, NJ. The ideal candidate will bring 3-4 years of accounting experience, with a focus on accounts payable, and a strong grasp of accounting principles. This in-office role involves maintaining accurate financial records and providing support to the broader accounting team. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily and monthly accounts payable, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on time.
• Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and collections.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring data integrity.
• Prepare daily receipts and generate related reports.
• Update and maintain monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Support payroll processing, including timecard entries and assisting with HR-related tasks.
• Prepare and analyze customer settlement reports.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to provide support as needed.
• Assist with other accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on accounts payable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
