Job Description : Litigation Associate
Location : Uniondale, NY
Compensation : 135-175k commensurate with experience

Overview : RemX is assisting our client, a mid-sized law firm in Uniondale NY, specializing in defense litigation and serving clients primarily in the insurance industry. We are seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation, with a focus on liability defense. This role involves handling cases through all phases of litigation in both Federal and State Courts of New York.
Responsibilities :
- Manage a caseload involving liability defense matters from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
- Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients.
