We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting overall financial operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in GAAP, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Manage general ledger activities and ensure proper classification of financial transactions.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with internal controls and external reporting requirements.
• Support tax preparation and filing processes, including sales tax, property tax, and income tax reporting.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior Accountant role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
