Position Overview:
A well-established HVAC manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Bi-Lingual Production Manager to oversee and optimize daily manufacturing operations. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and experience in HVAC manufacturing or related industries. The Production Manager will be responsible for workforce scheduling, quality control, and implementing efficiency improvements to ensure on-time production and high product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure quality control standards are upheld throughout the production process.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation for production lines.
- Monitor and enforce workplace safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize production workflows.
- Identify and troubleshoot production bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Train and develop team leaders and production staff.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing (HVAC or related industry preferred).
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing production teams.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with production scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance practices.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and production management software.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the manufacturing facility.
