Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in supporting patients' health and well-being through effective communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Duties
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.
- Assist with discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients leaving healthcare facilities.
- Conduct physical examinations and document findings accurately in patient records.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare team members.
- Provide care in various settings, including nursing homes and urgent care environments.
- Support patients with daily living activities while promoting their independence and dignity.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates should have experience or familiarity with the following areas:
- Medication administration protocols
- OB/GYN Experience required
- 1-3 years experience
- Active BLS from AHA
- Active LVN license
- Understanding of medical terminology and documentation standards
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
Salary : $40 - $45
