The Mergers and Acquisitions Manager (M&A) is a critical member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, driving strategic initiatives and transactions for the organization. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Strategy, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Facilities, to plan, analyze, and execute transactions that align with the organization's growth objectives. The M&A Manager will report on outcomes and provide recommendations directly to senior leadership, with visibility and influence at the highest organizational levels.
Responsibilities :
Oversee the entire M&A lifecycle, including assessments, due diligence, and transaction closures and coordination efforts.Develop standardize pro-forma models to optimize and simplify planning processes for acquisitions, expansions, and other strategic initiatives.Provide leadership teams with detailed outcome scenarios and valuation analyses.Evaluate and structure business agreements to achieve positive outcomes, incorporating insights from various sources as needed.Perform detailed and in-depth operational and financial analyses to identify critical deal issues and deliver actionable insights to leadership teams.Oversee strategic growth initiatives and special projects, including pipeline assessments and investment monitoring, to enhance operational efficiency.Create and deliver impactful analyses addressing key points, market trends, risks, and opportunities, while recommending and tracking cost-saving initiatives.Act as a central point of coordination across departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment on strategic priorities.Ensure adherence to company policies, to uphold the integrity and security of organizational operations.Requirements
Self-motivated and action-oriented, with a proactive approach to decision-making in ambiguous situationsExperience managing and coaching teamsMinimum three (3) years of transaction-oriented analytical M&A experience, preferably within a corporate healthcare industry M&A development teamMUST have successful track record of managing min three (3) M&A deals from start to finishCritical thinker with the ability to distill complex problems and develop practical solutionsAdvanced financial modeling and analytical capabilitiesExceptional project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlinesStellar communication skills tailored to diverse audiencesStrong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departmentsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
