We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a passion for accounting. This role offers exposure to various aspects of accounting and finance.
Manufacturing Accounting Experience is a plus!
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analysis.
Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in general ledger entries.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Prepare journal entries and maintain financial records.
Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
Assist in audits and tax preparations as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-3 years of accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software like MS Dynamics / Great Plains and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
