- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress.
- Facilitate conflict resolution among students and promote positive peer relationships.
- Organize workshops on topics such as study skills, stress management, and career planning.
- Advocate for students’ needs within the school system and community resources.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in School Counseling or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children in educational settings is essential.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
- Skills in tutoring or providing academic support are beneficial.
- Familiarity with Christian counseling principles is desirable.
- Background in early childhood education or daycare settings is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
