Construction Safety-Direct Report Individual

1. Job Description. RGS hereby is searching for highly qualified candidate for the purpose of providing on-site Safety Direct Report Individual (DRI) services for various capital and facilities projects. The scope of work is to monitor performance of the projects work in order to provide a safe working environment and compliance with best practices and applicable safety standards including OSHA regulations, site EHSS policies, , and local requirements.

Contractor will apply the following general practices for the provision of services under this agreement:

· Routinely monitor site contractors’ EHS performance to verify compliance with applicable practices and procedures, regulatory requirements and additional owner expectations/deliverables identified in client’s contract of work EHS Schedule.

· Interface with and support the construction management team at the site by delivering current data on site contractors’ EHS performance, including trending, incident management, EHS metrics, and other key information that enable management to make informed and timely decisions.

· Facilitate communications, including safety meetings and notices, to communicate relevant EHS information between site contractors and management.

· Conduct and/or participate in site safety walks with the site contractors as required.

· Act as a coach and advisor to the site contractors.

· Evaluate the completeness and effectiveness of the site contractors’ hazard assessments (JHAs, Good Saves, etc.).

· When non-compliance and/or non-conformance is observed, immediately bring the issue to the attention of that individual and key stakeholders as appropriate.

· Verify that key performance indices (KPIs), leading/lagging indicators, and EHS data submitted by the site contractors are accurate, timely and complete.

· Conduct monthly EHS audits as required.

· Participate in progress and schedule meetings.

· Attend client training as requested.

· Evaluate/audit Site Specific Safety Plan for conformance with requirements.

· Understand and verify operational EHS requirements are adhered to.

· Support client initiatives as requested.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
