Position Overview: Renaissance GSB, a premier manufacturer of luxury windows and doors, is seeking a highly detail-oriented Production Manager Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless execution of production processes and maintaining the highest standards of quality. The Production Manager Assistant will work directly under the Production Manager, acting as their primary support while also serving as their deputy in their absence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control (QC):
- Oversee the final quality control inspections on all units to ensure they meet Renaissance GSB’s exacting standards for craftsmanship and luxury.
- Identify and address any quality issues, ensuring all products align with client expectations and company guidelines.
- Crating and Logistics Management:
- Supervise the crating of windows and doors to ensure safe and secure transportation.
- Manage the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in handling materials and finished goods.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing clear direction, training, and support as needed.
- Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines and production goals are met.
- Production Oversight:
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to monitor workflow and address any production bottlenecks.
- Serve as the acting Production Manager in their absence, maintaining continuity and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain clear and open communication with the Production Manager, team members, and other departments.
- Prepare reports on production progress, quality control findings, and team performance as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a production or manufacturing role, preferably in luxury goods or a related field.
- Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics and quality control processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in manufacturing or management are a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move materials as needed and work in a manufacturing environment.
