Rental Team Lead

Job Summary
The role of a rental team lead is to address and fix problems that arise at all company rental properties. This may include, but is not limited to, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work. While maintaining occupied rentals is the primary duty, a rental team lead will also lead in the remodels of rental homes and company flip properties. All of this will be done by working closely with the property manager/project manager to ensure the clarity and promptness of the task at hand. A rental team lead must provide their own tools and transportation, possess strong communication skills, and present themselves in a way that reflects the company's values

Duties/Tasks (Some experience in the following items is important to fulfill this role. While a lot of this can be learned and taught, competence in general home repair/remodeling is required)

• Diagnosing HVAC issues and error codes
• Window replacement
• Cabinetry install
• Tile installation
• Finish carpentry
• Appliance installation
• Finish plumbing/fixtures
• LVP installation
• Door installation
• Door and cabinet hardware installation
• Framing
• Finish electric
• Drywall installation
• Painting
• General Handyman work

Qualifications

• Rental team lead must be able to communicate effectively in a timely manner to property manager, co-workers, and tenants through the appropriate channels
• Rental team lead must be able to use critical thinking skills to problem solve a variety of maintenance related issues
• Rental team lead must possess a drive to complete tasks according to plan, taking pride in the quality of their work
• Rental team lead must be knowledgeable in most of the trades listed above
• Rental team lead must own a full set of tools (drills, mitre saw, circular saw, nailers, hand tools)

Compensation

• $28-$33 / HR
• 2 weeks paid PTO
• Paid holidays

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends
