Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Marketing Project Manager. The Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating marketing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Daily tasks include communication with team members and clients, organizing project details, managing budgets, and executing marketing strategies. The role requires strong organization, communication, and project management skills.
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Oversee multiple marketing campaigns and initiatives—SEO, PPC, content, CRO, programmatic ads, and web development.
- Coordinate schedules, tasks, and milestones across both in-house and external teams.
Client Management
- Serve as a primary client liaison, handling inquiries, scheduling calls, and leading periodic client meetings.
- Communicate project scope, progress, and results clearly and proactively.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and present regular performance reports, leveraging marketing reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Data Studio, or similar).
- Interpret data to optimize campaigns and support data-driven decision-making.
Team & Vendor Coordination
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, developers, SEO/PPC specialists, and other experts to keep projects on track.
- Manage resource allocation, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring quality outcomes.
Onboarding & Kickoff
- Conduct onboarding calls with new clients to capture requirements and establish project goals.
- Set up project scopes, workflows, and clear deliverables from the start.
Quality Control
- Review deliverables for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client brand standards.
- Identify and resolve any issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction.
Process Improvement & Documentation
- Develop and maintain SOPs for project workflows.
- Recommend enhancements to streamline agency processes.
Experience & Background
- 2 years of project management experience within a marketing or digital agency environment (or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Hands-on experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns (SEO, PPC, content, CRO, etc.).
Technical & Analytical
- Familiarity with various marketing reporting tools (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, or equivalents).
- AI Tools proficiency: Able to incorporate AI-assisted strategies and workflow enhancements.
- Basic Canva skills for design collaboration, quick mockups, or small-scale content updates.
Organizational & Leadership Skills
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams, freelancers, and/or vendors.
Communication
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and internal coordination.
- Adept at setting clear expectations and delivering concise updates.
