As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of a Special Project Housekeeper is to handle specific cleaning tasks and provide service to guest areas. This role is also responsible for cleaning public restrooms and floors, performing floor maintenance tasks such as stripping and waxing, ensuring the cleanliness of the exercise area, assisting with the management of linen inventory, including incoming and outgoing linen, and refilling the PM driver's soiled linen bins. A crucial part of this role is to also provide exceptional guest service, respond promptly and professionally to guest service calls, and play a vital role in creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests.
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all public restrooms, ensuring they are well-maintained and stocked with essential supplies.
- Clean and maintain the cleanliness of all public floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure a neat and presentable appearance.
- Responsible for the specialized task of stripping and waxing floors in designated areas, following proper procedures to achieve a polished and well-maintained surface.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the exercise area, including cleaning and disinfecting fitness equipment, mirrors, and other surfaces to provide a hygienic environment for guests.
- Ensure the storeroom is kept clean and organized, with proper storage and labeling of cleaning supplies and equipment for easy accessibility.
- Regularly refill PM (post-meridian) driver soiled linen bins, collecting used linens and ensuring a continuous supply of clean linens for guest rooms and public areas.
- Assist with monitoring linen inventory, tracking incoming and outgoing linens, and reporting any shortages or excesses to the relevant personnel.
- Provide support in responding to guest room calls or special cleaning requests, addressing guest needs promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and supervisors to maintain a seamless workflow, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed effectively and in a timely manner.
- Follow established cleaning protocols, safety guidelines, and company policies to uphold high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
