Department: Banquets
Reports To: Banquet Director / Banquet Captain

• Set up banquet rooms according to diagrams, BEOs (Banquet Event Orders), and supervisor instructions
• Move, arrange, and store tables, chairs, podiums, stages, and dance floors as needed
• Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and presentable before guest arrival
• Assist with the breakdown and reset of rooms post-event
• Deliver necessary items such as linens, water stations, signage, and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet storage and back-of-house areas
• Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors immediately
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide support to banquet servers and other team members during events as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Turnaround between events can be tight — requires quick, high-energy movement.
• Sometimes required to work overnight or early morning for setup/cleanup and all other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in hospitality or event setup is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Required to work at least 3 times per month, including weekends
• Professional demeanor and ability to work well under pressure
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items on a regular basis 30 to 50 pounds
• Regularly lifting tables, chairs, staging, podiums, and dance floors.
• Items can weigh 50 to 75 pounds or more, and are often moved without assistance.
• Moving large carts of linens, banquet equipment, or stacked chairs.
• Requires upper body strength and core stability.
• On your feet for entire shifts,
• Lots of walking — sometimes covering large ballrooms or multiple event rooms.
• Stretching across tables or awkward spaces to place linens
• Repeatedly lifting, setting up, and tearing down setups.
• Folding linens, stacking chairs, or arranging banquet settings.

Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $16.50/Hr. - $16.50/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
