WHAT YOU’LL DOAs our Project Accountant, you’ll be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring our projects are on track and our finances are in order. Your responsibilities will include:
- Invoice Processing: Handle all A/P invoices and generate A/R invoicing with the support of project managers.
- Vendor & Client Relations: Manage vendor payments, lien waivers, and Certificates of Insurance to ensure smooth transactions and timely payments.
- Financial Reporting: Create job cost reports, reconcile credit cards, and maintain accurate and confidential financial records.
- Project Support: Attend project meetings, verify data entry into our accounting system, and assist with iConnect reimbursements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
We’re looking for someone who is not only skilled in accounting but also passionate about contributing to a team and growing within a dynamic company. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of experience in construction accounting
- A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related field is preferred
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
- Must have experience in Foundation accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite - savvy Excel skills
- A proactive, meticulous, and team-oriented mindset
