Overall Requirements:
The Director of Operations and NPI (New Product Introduction) is a vital role within our operations department, managing and leading Operations in our Dallas site. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing new product introductions. Working with Sales management and stakeholders, they schedule activities, coordinate between teams, set standards for quality control, handle budgeting, and ensure the success of the new product.

Duties:
- Leading and managing the development and introduction of new products to the market
- Coordinating cross-functional teams, and teams including Sales, marketing, engineering, quality assurance, and others
- Working and coordinating with third parties (i.e. contract manufacturers) and stakeholders (i.e. investors)
- Setting project timelines and budgets
- Communicating with stakeholders and management to provide updates on project progress
- Conducting risk assessments and developing contingency plans
- Managing the launch of the product
- Developing marketing plans and coordinating with sales and marketing teams
- Implementing contingency plans when the project encounters roadblocks or moves off the rails
- Manage product or component readiness
- Consider cost-per-unit, estimated sales, and other factors to estimate profits
- Stopping the project when it becomes clear that the project is no longer viable
- Onboarding of New Customers
- Quality Assurance Performance
- Gate Reviews and Passage
- Continuous Improvement inside of NPI from Engineering through to Production

Additional Qualifications
- Understanding RF and Wireless Communication Systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, time management and documentation skills
