What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Space Attendant position at Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel?
To maintain public areas, specifically entrances, lobby bar, main lobby sitting areas, telephone, and all surfaces that accumulate dust and debris.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Tour assigned work areas and look for any unusual situations. Correct anything that needs attention and report anything that you cannot handle.
Clean the public restrooms in the main lobby and restock the supplies.
Clean and dust the lobby area including ashtrays, furniture, house phones, wall fixtures, plants, public phones, vending machines, glass and windows.
Return to assigned work areas during the day and maintain their appearance.
Return keys to the housekeeping office and sign for them.
Should actively promote and participate in Total Quality Management.
Each associate is expected to carry out all reasonable requests of management which the associate is capable of performing.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bending, stooping and lifting will be required.
2. Ability to communicate in English.
3. Effective communication skills.
4. Previous hospitality experience preferred.
