Description
The Director of Operations (DOO) will be a critical senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the organization's operational excellence, strategic administrative planning, and overall organizational effectiveness. This position serves as a key partner to the Executive Director and Board of Directors in managing the organization's infrastructure, administrative systems, and operational strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Strategic Operations Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive administrative strategies that align with the organization's mission and long-term goals
- Design and optimize organizational structures, workflows, and operational processes
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct regular operational audits and performance assessments
Financial and Resource Management
- Oversee budget development and financial planning for administrative departments.
- Manage organizational resources, including facilities including off-site properties, technology, and administrative staff.
- Develop and implement cost-control strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and non-profit accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance to align administrative spending with strategic objectives.
Human Resources and Talent Development
- Assist in the design and implementation HR policies and procedures
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development programs
- Foster a positive, inclusive organizational culture
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and non-profit HR regulations
- Lead organizational change management initiatives
Technology and Systems Integration
- Oversee the organization's technology infrastructure and digital transformation.
- Evaluate and implement administrative and operational technology solutions.
- Ensure data security and privacy compliance.
- Support technology-enabled efficiency improvements across the organization.
Governance and Compliance
- Serve as a key liaison between senior management, departments, and the Board of Directors.
- Ensure organizational compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for leadership and board meetings.
- Support strategic planning and organizational risk management.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, Master's degree preferred. 8 to 10 years of progressive administrative leadership experience in non-profit or complex organizational settings. Proven track record of strategic operational management. Excellent verbal and writing skills necessary.

Salary : $135,000 - $160,000
