We are currently hiring for a Dialysis Biomedical Technician. This role involves traveling to dialysis clinics in Stockbridge, McDonough, Ellenwood, and Griffin.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Make, transfer bicarb and document
- Do water checks, record prior to each patient shift, co-signed by a licensed nurse.
- Order and control inventory through QuickBooks
- Put up any stock received, rotate first in-first out
- Facility maintenance
- Keep Warehouse and RO room neat, clean and organized at all times
- Make and transfer Acidified and document, co-signed by a licensed nurse
- Fill Acidified jugs that are needed for different baths and clean weekly
- Keep treatment floor stocked with supplies as needed
- Work close with the cleaning crew for cleanliness and supplies needed
- Machine maintenance and repairs per manufacturers recommendations
- Disinfect bicarb loop weekly and document
- Rinse bicarb loop daily
- Draw monthly cultures and LAL’s
- Perform monthly disinfection on RO system and document
- Take all necessary measures to ensure our patients have everything needed to help them have a good experience here at our dialysis facility
- Monthly reports completed and signed
- QA done on a monthly basis
- Machine records are to always be up to date and complete
- Fill bleach and vinegar jugs weekly
- Do annual Water Checklist for nursing staff
- Train new nurses how to make, transfer and rinse bicarb loop
- Record in RO preventive maintenance log a minimum of 2 times per week
- Keep our facilities safe for our patients and staff
- And all other duties assigned
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 5 lbs. above head
- Ability to receive and place stock of shelves.
- Ability to move equipment with assistance if required.
- Ability to bend and be on feet for long periods of time.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Able to obtain Fresenius certification upon completion of training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.41 - $28.20 per hour
