Summary
As a Shop Assistant at Construction Waste, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our waste disposal services. This position is essential for maintaining our commitment to quality service and efficient waste management solutions.
1. Cleaning entire shop floor
a. Sweeping
b. Using Oil Dry and cleaning areas
c. The use of cleaning fluids and/or a machine to keep shop floor in a safe condition for walking.
2. Organizational Skills
a. Incoming packages distributed (ability to lift up to 80 lbs.) Use of dolly will be encouraged when the situation requires it.
b. Incoming parts placed in designated area
c. Incoming fluids, i.e. oil. hydraulic etc. placed in designated
d. Keeping shop rags readied for mechanics use as well as pick up.
e. Attention to detail.
3. Flexibility
a. This position will need to be filled with someone that is able to be flexible
in what they are doing and use good judgement in using their time wisely.
4. Safety
a. This will be paramount in this position with moving equipment and various
types of welding, grinding as well as lifts and other machines being used during operating hours. This position will require alertness at all times and to be aware of their surroundings.
5. Valid Driver’s License
