Are you a skilled painter with a passion for transforming metal? Do you have experience with sandblasting and spray painting, and enjoy seeing projects through from start to finish?
CW Recycling is looking for an experienced Sandblasters and Painters for our new facility which is located at Enterprise Park (right of I-70 Keystone/Rural exit near downtown Indianapolis) You must have at least 2 years experience. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and painting roll-off boxes, ensuring a high-quality, durable finish. Dependability is a must for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: Thoroughly sandblast roll-off boxes to remove rust, old paint, and other contaminants.
- Spray Painting: Apply primer, topcoat, and other protective coatings using spray equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished boxes for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Maintenance: Maintain and clean painting equipment and work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sandblasting and spray painting, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Ability to operate and maintain sandblasting and spray painting equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.1
- Physical ability to perform the required tasks, including lifting and working in various positions.
Bonus Points (Not Required):
- Welding experience (MIG, stick, etc.)
