Render is searching for a System Administrator to join a dynamic in-person team in a lab environment supporting Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). This role involves a range of system administration responsibilities, including :
- Conducting vulnerability scans using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
- Installing patches and ensuring systems are up to date.
- Creating system baselines and deploying images to field components.
- Managing system backups and recovery processes.
- Implementing security hardening using Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIGs).
- Maintaining accurate hardware and software inventories.
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
Our System Administrator will have hands-on exposure to Windows OS, Linux OS, cryptographic devices, and network equipment, making it ideal for someone looking to deepen their expertise in system administration and cybersecurity within a UAS environment.

We also offer health, vision and dental benefits on a cost-sharing basis. An annual bonus can be included in compensation based on company performance and policy. This position has an annual salary range of $40,000 to $75,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and / or experience and education and in consideration of internal pay equality.
The qualified candidate must be a US Citizen with an active / current DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
