What Youll Do
The Acute Clinical Quality Manager (AQM) is responsible for the relationship management and clinical operations of all assigned acute dialysis facilities offering continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), apheresis, peritoneal dialysis (PD), and acute hemodialysis (HD) under the direction of the Director, Hospital Services. Responsible for daily quality operations associated with contracted services at client sites to include but not limited to quality care; clinical outcomes; compliance to applicable regulations; and the ordering and delivery of dialysis supplies. As the AQM you will be responsible for teammate training, continuing education, and changes in care released by industry leaders and regulators. The AQM is responsible for working with Regional Directors and other members of the executive team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nurse (BSN) and/or Master of Nursing (MSN)

Current state license as a Registered Nurse.

CPR AHA BLS certification
Employment Requirements:

3 5 years of nephrology experience.

Ability to travel and schedule flexibility.

Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding.

Member of ISPD, ANNA and CNN preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Maintains current knowledge of health law, regulation, and market changes that impact all aspects of the business.

Experience as a leader in acute dialysis.

Strong writing skills with specific experience in the areas of developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and training in a healthcare environment.

Experience leading new program transitions and implementations.
-
Experience with acute HD, PD, CRRT, and apheresis modalities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Develop strong relationships with client staff and actively seek out ways to add value to the client. Serving as an extension of hospital clients management teams.
-
Maintain prompt and open communication with hospital staff, and function as the on-site dialysis expert/resource.
-
Conduct weekly/monthly (abbreviated) and quarterly (comprehensive) quality audits to ensure compliance with Client and Rendevor Dialysis Policies and Procedures in accordance with regulatory standards (CMS, TJC, etc.)

Support overall Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program, to include:
-
Assists with the overall development and implementation of the QAPI plan in conjunction with quality team.
-
Implements quality goals and action plans to achieve quality standards.
-
Prepare and compile Monthly Rendevor Dialysis Quality Reports to required client staff.
-
Monitors to ensure each client site exceeds expectations and outcomes outlined by Rendevor Dialysis policy and procedure along with CMS guidelines, state regulations and contractual obligations.

Actively participates in Rendevor Dialysis & Client QAPI meetings.
-
Makes recommendations for revisions to QAPI activities or need for new initiatives.

Support the Biomedical Program at client sites, to include:
-
Oversee the supply and inventory process at all client facilities in coordination with the Rendevor Dialysis Purchasing Team. This will include performing or delegating supply ordering, inventory, stocking, and delivery to external facilities.
-
Audit equipment disinfection logs, daily logs, waterlogs, Myron L logs, refrigerator temp logs, etc. on a weekly and monthly basis, for completeness. As issues are identified, re-educate staff on proper use of logs and appropriate action to take when values are out of compliance with acceptable limits.

Audit water and equipment quality reports to ensure they are completed per policy and regulations. Maintain a filing system onsite. In conjunction with the Biomedical Services team, ensure that trending reports are conducted for any areas that are out of acceptable range until a consistent level of compliance has been demonstrated.

Coordinate with regional Biomedical Operations management to ensure required coverage and response to machine issues.

Responsible for reviewing any policy and procedure changes, updates and/or additions with dialysis unit managers.

Assist in training hospital staff on any of the following modalities as applicable: hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.

Gather monthly treatment rosters from each facility and submit to the Rendevor Dialysis A/R Team by the 1st of each month.

Assist Rendevor Dialysis Leadership Team with developing and executing Corrective Action Plans whenever necessary and communicate status of action plan to applicable client staff.

Actively assist with and participate in new unit/facility program implementations for any new unit assigned to you.

Participates in the development and implements the area strategic plans, goals and objectives ensuring alignment with those of the region, division, and company.

Participates in corporate level committees, meetings and team functions as requested by supervisor.

Checks email daily and responds appropriately and timely; uses company-provided email for all work-related email communications

Adhere to all Rendevor Dialysis and Hospital policies and procedures.

Supervision: This position will report directly to the Director, Acute Clinical Operations
Work Environment:
This job operates in both a hospital and in a professional office environment and may operate remotely. This role may include exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens. The AQM routinely uses medical equipment as well as standard office equipment such as laptop computers, phones, and photocopiers/scanners.
