Long Distance Vanliner Driver/Mover

Overview
We seeking an experienced Van Line driver for long distance to join our team. Driver must have a minimum of 1 year experience driving with a moving company. We have T680 trucks with 53' trailers.

Base Pay is $250-$300 daily 10% of the line-haul ( Fuel, labor, repairs, insurance covered by the company)

In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with moving tasks, ensuring that items are loaded, unloaded, and delivered safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills and a commitment to providing excellent service while handling various moving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Assist customers with moving tasks, including packing, unpacking, and organizing items as needed.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely deliveries.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols while driving and handling materials.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations.

Skills

• Proven 1 year experience in the moving industry.
• Familiarity with Commercial driving regulations and practices.
• Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labor tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in handling items during moves.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
